This set of four mid-century South African solid imbuia dining chairs, designed by the legendary modernist furniture maker E.E. Meyer, features a distinctive trapezoid-shaped back and legs without stretchers.
First purchased in 1959, this early design foreshadows the bold, minimalist style that defined Meyer’s prolific career. Attributed to Meyer based on the unusual timber and high-quality construction, the chairs displays clean lines and delicate details.
Price includes 4 chairs.Recently re-stained, the chairs show minor scuffing and are in overall great condition.
